Our three key intercultural communication services: 1) Language We offer Spanish or English language lessons to individuals on a one to one basis or groups, at any level, and for any purpose. We tailor our language lessons (ESL or SSL) to ensure that they captivate the interest of the learner, meet their needs and challenge their capabilities. We can offer general language teaching concentrating on all skills, or we can be skill specific, focusing on either, reading, writing, listening or speaking. In addition, we can offer training in areas such as industry specific terminology/vocabulary, report writing, presentation skills and speech giving. Where appropriate, we encourage students to engage in language examinations and assist them in their preparation and applications. We also offer language lessons to families and spouses of business personnel either coming to or leaving the United States. This in tandem with cross cultural awareness training can help reduce the impact of culture shock and ease the transition to a new environment. 2) Interpreting and Translation: We have a team of highly qualified staff offering interpreting and translation services. Our team of interpreters is available 24/7 to deal with all your interpretation needs, whether you are private or public sector based. We deal with translation work across all media whether paper, electronic or web based. In addition to translation we can also offer you proof-reading services or cultural applicability consultancy on materials you plan to use. We guarantee high quality translations with quick turnarounds at competitive prices. 3) Cross Cultural Awareness Training: Our cross cultural training courses are designed to meet the needs of a broad spectrum of business / organizational operations. All our intercultural awareness workshops are delivered by cultural experts who have considerable depth and experience in the area at hand. Each course is aimed at meeting your intercultural communication training needs. Contact us at our numbers.   State and Federal laws require that interpreters are available for people with limited English. ”It is declared to be a policy that the constitutional rights of persons handicapped in communication cannot be fully protected unless qualified interpreters are available to assist them”.   The Services available through our center are:   Interpreters Our interpreters assist people have an equal footing as English speaker with legal matters, medical, social economic, work related issues, schools, city or county services, and with any other need, for a fee.   We have qualified interpreters, meeting the federal and ethic standards with confidentiality. Our interpreters are trained in all three modes of interpretation; simultaneous, consecutive and sight interpretation, and have had a complete criminal background check.   You can schedule an interpreter with a 24-hour notice by calling our office.   Fees Interpreting within the county is $30/hr plus mileage Interpreting outside the county is $40/hr plus mileage Interpretation by telephone is $30/hr [prorated] Medical interpretation may be cover by the medical agency, and it must be verified for the client, otherwise it follows the fees set above. If a cancellation is not received within a 24-hour notice and for ‘no shows’ a fee of $15.00 is charged   Translations Legal documents $25/hr with an initial fee of $10 for preparation and delivery Civil documents $20   Transportation to appointments A fee of $30/hr plus $15 for gas for trips no longer than 2 hours drive Other trips maybe arranged with a deposit, hourly rate, and gas, may be arranged   Walk-ins and Office consultation A flat fee of $10.00 will be charged Preparation of Taxes, both Federal and State, including ITIN [Individual Taxpayer Identification number]   Classes, Trainings, and Seminars  ESL, Spanish, Cultural Training, Presentations, Drivers Ed, Citizenship.
